Delete account

You can erase your VestraPet account at any time. This is irreversible: every pet profile, every timeline event, every triage result, every document — gone, within 30 days of your request, across backups within 90 days.

Before you delete

Consider /export first if you want to keep a copy of your records.
If you're on an active subscription, cancel through your App Store or Google Play account. Deletion does not stop billing on its own.
If your pet's digital passport has been shared with a veterinarian, the shared link will stop resolving after deletion.

How to delete

Open the app, go to Profile → Sign out.
On sign-in, choose Delete my account.
Confirm with the code we email you.
A confirmation arrives in your inbox. Within 30 days the last trace of your data is purged from live systems. Backups are rotated out within 90 days.

By email instead

If the in-app flow is unavailable, email privacy@vestrapet.com from the address registered on your account with the subject Delete my account. We will acknowledge within one business day and complete deletion within 30 days.

What we keep briefly

For up to 90 days after deletion, anonymized records may persist in cold backups and financial ledgers as required by tax law. These records are encrypted, unassociated with your identity, and are purged when the backup cycle rotates.
