Terms of service

By using VestraPet, you agree to these terms. They cover what we provide, what you agree not to do, our liability, and how disputes are resolved.

1. The service

VestraPet is a digital companion for pet care: triage suggestions, vaccine reminders, vet network discovery, document storage, training and nutrition guidance. We are not a veterinary practice and our outputs are not medical diagnoses.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country, and capable of forming a binding contract.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your credentials and for everything done under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

• No reverse-engineering, scraping or automated access without written consent.
• No uploading of content you do not have rights to share.
• No use of the service to impersonate, harass or harm.
• No use that violates applicable law.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Trials, renewals, refunds and cancellation are governed by the applicable store's terms in addition to these.

6. Intellectual property

The app, brand and content are owned by VestraPet or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload, and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and process it solely to provide the service to you.

7. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Triage results are educational, not diagnostic. For urgent veterinary care, contact a licensed practitioner. We disclaim warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account via /delete-account. We can suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to comply with law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, except where consumer-protection law of your residence requires otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in-app and by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
